Every year we invite a group of trainee teachers to Whitemoor Lakes in order to experience the centre through the eyes of a student. They have an opportunity to face the same challenges through experiencing our high ropes course for the first time. This group also have a brief tour of the centre and finish with an opportunity to ask our staff questions about planning a residential.
Here’s what Amy had to say about here experience:
I have had a fantastic morning at Whitemoor Lakes. The high ropes activity was fantastic, I felt comfortable and safe in the very capable hands of Robin, I thoroughly enjoyed the activity and left feeling triumphant and that I had achieved something great. The activities were insightful into what students experience on residential trips with school or youth centres, and helped me to recognise how activity centres like this can be beneficial in inspiring classroom work and work ethic. The food that was provided for us was excellent and really warmed me up after the fresh air of the morning! The facilities at Whitemoor Lakes are outstanding and I can understand why schools are now rebooking into 2023!
