Who we are
Northamptonshire Association of Youth Clubs (NAYC) is a charity that has been working with young people and youth organisations for over 60 years.
Covering the county of Northamptonshire, NAYC aims to develop young people physically, mentally, and spiritually—expanding their horizons regardless of economic background, education, ability, disability, or disadvantage. Our work focuses on four key areas:
Setting up and supporting vibrant youth groups
Delivering engaging activities and programmes
Providing training
for youth leaders
Developing the immense potential in young people
NAYC supports all kinds of youth groups, including sports, arts, faith-based, music, minority, and special needs groups—and many more.
In a typical year, NAYC supports around 200 youth groups across Northamptonshire. Through our affordable Group Affiliation Package (GAP), we offer a wide range of benefits. Over half of our affiliated groups are open-access youth clubs that meet in community buildings and are run by local volunteers. We are proud to champion and support the voluntary youth work sector throughout the county.
